The Stringtown Pickers offer a fresh new take on traditional bluegrass, newgrass, and jamgrass. They are a talented band that embraces the Americana music sound. The Stringtown Pickers emphasize tight vocal harmonies as much as sterling musicianship.
The Stringtown Pickers combine many influences to deliver a diverse repertoire of Americana music that appeals to a wide range of audiences. With shows often lasting five hours or more, the Stringtown Pickers entertain like few acoustic bands can. They are equally at home playing to bar crowds, festivals, and private parties. Their unique blend of acoustic stew draws from the full gamut of musical genres. Everything from bluegrass, newgrass, folk, roots, rock, reggae, and blues are represented on any given night. The Stringtown Pickers consist of Casey Keiner on mandolin, fiddle, and vocals, Chris Keiner on flat-pick guitar and vocals, Scott Nelson on bass fiddle and vocals, Dave Frye on banjo and vocals, and Dave Bigley on guitar and vocals.
